I bought this to replace my old bag holder that was fraying. the material of this product is good but it doesn't seem as roomy as my old holder. putting two rolls of bags is pretty snug. the material of the holder is better though since it isn't cotton fabric but nylonishThis product has the typical MightyPaw quality which is generally nice. We’ve got several collars and leashes from them. A cheaper bag holder came apart at the seams and I bought this to replace it. My BIGGEST gripe with this product is the rubber slits that allegedly keep the bag in place. They are terrible. They cause so much friction the bags will tear when you pull them out. They make loading bags a nightmare because you basically need a tool to thread the bag through. The best thing you can do is hit it with a pair of scissors and cut it out like I did. Seriously. The rubber piece distracted me the other day so much that I didn’t notice my dog had drifted off the sidewalk and into the bike lake, just because I was fiddling with the bags.Fit my dog's leash very nicely.Years of clipping dog bag holders to the leash have shown me that almost all bag holders either fail at the threaded screw part, or they fail where the holder attaches to the clip.This design eliminates that because it features three points of contact, versus one. As someone who does a lot of hiking, running, city walking, and play with our very active German Shepherd, we need a bag that is sturdy and secure. This is the best in terms of durability and value.I like this product and also the company. I do have an issue with bag rolls getting “jammed” inside the pouch where the bags will not dispense smoothly or get stuck altogether, and I have to unzip the compartment and dislodge the stuck roll. I suspect this is due to the compartment being larger than it needs to be for a standard size bag roll, and the roll sometimes gets twisted or pinched inside the folds of the material.I just got the holder today and so far so good. Based on a lot of the reviews, I did switch out the bags it came with for my regular poo bags and I put it on the current leash. Since I didn't want the holder to slide, I placed one Velcro strap in the handle and the other on the leash. I haven't had a chance to use it but I am always looking for a good bag holder since I live in an area that is over run with Poo Nazis that will yell at you and complain to the HOA if you don't have poo bags with you at all times. I will update as I use itUPDATE 12/2017 So far this bag holder has held up. I like the fact that it quiet compared to the other bag holders I’ve had and if I drop it it doesn’t make a loud bang or hurt the dog (it gets dropped on his head a lot... not on purpose though). Cheap bags have an issue coming through the little hole on the side but I just unzip it and grab one. Not that big of a deal.This purchase is a replacement of the original one that after a long life tore at the opening to pull bags through . This has lasted the longest of any of the bag holders I have bought over the years. Its durable slim and most importantly to me it stays attached to the leash and dos not come unzipped or the Velcro straps do not wear away.This is just one of many quality products from this company. They have excellent customer service to top it off. I recommend them frequentlyI love how I can fit an extra roll of bags inside! It’s also super durable. Sometimes I just let go of the leash and let my dog run wild. Its been through some stuff and it’s still all together! The threading is still all in tact. It’s also super easy to clean.Only thing I don’t like about it is that sometimes when I try to pull a bag out, the whole dang roll tries to squeeze through the hole, making it a little difficult. It doesn’t matter if I have an extra roll or not. It only happens sometimes so it’s still a worthy purchase! Love it.Very disappointed with product. It was attached to my dads harness with the Velcro strips and the clip. The Velcro strip detached completely from the pouch. Leaving it hanging by the clip .Lasted about a day before it got ripped off the leash. I can’t re attach it so I’m just back to attaching bags to the handle of the leashWas super excited to get this but it fell apart within a month. Great idea just not very durable.Everything looks good. Arrived on time and well packed. But the plastic keychain hook is too weak for $20. Should have used a better metal hook instead.Très pratique.
